Dental Implants
A dental implant is a root of an artificial tooth. It is fixed into the jawbone and so it can facilitate permanent artificial teeth. Dental implants can support a single artificial tooth or multiple artificial teeth. They are made of dental material like titanium or zirconium. Unlike dentures or other dental restorations like dental bridges, artificial teeth fixed on top of dental implants are closest to natural teeth. They provide superior functionality enabling chewing of food and clear speech. Dental implants are fixed into the jawbone with a dental surgery. Once dental implants are firmly fixed, artificial teeth, dentures, or crowns are placed.
Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment is a procedure performed on the infected tooth to remove the decay affecting the pulp (underlying tissue containing blood vessels and nerve supply to a tooth). Simple filling procedure cannot restore a tooth’s dental health when the infection has encroached the pulp. Root canal therapy is the only alternative to save such tooth from being extracted. The main objective of root canal treatment is to preserve the infected existing natural tooth by disinfection. During a root canal therapy, access to the root canal present inside the root of a tooth is gained and the infected tissue is removed entirely. Hence Root Canal treatment bypasses extraction of the infected tooth and its replacement procedures thereby saving time and money.
Aligners
Aligners are transparent custom made dental braces made of plastic material.They are made to fit each person’s mouth. These are the least visible orthodontic treatment available. The aligners cannot be seen in photographs or from a far.These braces are clear and blend in more with the natural colour of the teeth. The idea of getting braces is more acceptable because of Aligners. Conventional braces use metal / ceramic brackets connected by wires to achieve desired movement of teeth. These braces are metal based and are visible when you smile or talk making your look unaesthetic. Aligners are an extraordinary option for patients who would prefer not to wear conventional braces.

Cosmetic Veneers
Dental veneers are called as porcelain veneers or laminates. These are thin, custom made tooth colored shell like coverings bonded on individual teeth to alter shape, size, color and alignment of imperfect teeth. Dental veneers can be made of tooth colored composite or porcelain. Porcelain veneers are custom made cap like structures fabricated in the laboratory that are indirectly bonded to the tooth structure. Unlike porcelain veneers, composite veneers are directly bonded to the tooth surface by carefully sculpting composite on the tooth.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
In the majority of cases, there will not be enough room in the jaw for a wisdom tooth or all wisdom teeth to fully emerge. This can lead to several complications. If the exit of the wisdom teeth is stalled at the halfway point (soft impaction), this can make brushing and flossing the wisdom teeth extremely difficult. Food and bacteria builds up between the wisdom teeth and its neighboring molars, and decay and gum infection are very likely to occur. Crowded wisdom teeth in the upper jaw have a tendency to lean sideways and grate against the cheek. These wisdom teeth usually cause ulceration and chewing problems. A further problem is wisdom teeth crowding- the pressure from wisdom teeth may also force the other teeth closer together, and interfere with the bite. Gum disease and cyst formations are also complications of impacted wisdom teeth. Very rarely, tumours may also form from the wisdom teeth. Pressure from the wisdom teeth can also cause toothache on the tooth next to it. Ulceration can also be caused by wisdom teeth. Upper wisdom teeth may push sideways out of the gum and cause ulcers inside of the cheek.
Sinus Lift Surgery
In order to successfully place dental implants you need sufficient bone. In certain situations dentist need to perform specific procedures in order to create bone volume. One such procedure is sinus lift. The maxillary sinuses are empty rooms that have nothing at all in them. When upper teeth are removed, there is often just a thin wall of bone separating the maxillary sinus and the mouth. Dental implants need bone to hold them in place so when the sinus wall is very thin, it is impossible to place dental implants in this bone. There is a solution called a sinus graft or sinus lift graft. The dental implant surgeon enters the sinus and sinus membrane is then lifted upward and donor bone is inserted into the floor of the sinus. After several months of healing, the bone becomes part of the patient’s jaw and dental implants can be inserted and stabilised in this new sinus bone. The sinus graft makes it possible for many patients to have dental implants when years ago there was no other option other than wearing loose denture.
